How it all started
Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe founded the legendary Marbella Club Hotel in 1954. Golden Mile – class and style
Originally the term defined the areas immediately adjacent to the N-340 road from Marbella to Puerto Banus. It also includes Saudi Arabia’s King Fahad’s residence, and the Don Pepe, Marbella Club and Puente Romano Hotels. With time the term extended to areas in the hills above Marbella such as Rocio de Nagueles and Sierra Blanca.
The area has been keeping its class and style over the years and elegance to perfection. Many original buildings had a radical reconstruction for ultimate comfort and technology. They do still maintain its old charm, which enhance the day-to-day living experience.
